Maps of your business area are required.

There are 2 options..
Normal photographic images, raster images
Line drawn or digital images, vector images. (recommended)

Raster Images are easier to obtain by scanning or extracting from the Internet. The problem is that they are heavy to download and break up or pixelate when expanded. (see an example 'raster' on the search pages)

Vector Images may be obtained from digital map suppliers on the Internet but it all depends on your area of business.
e.g   www.mapresources.com

Local graphic artists familiar with Macromedia products would be your local alternative. File types .fla, .fh10, .fh11 .eps, .ai, .pdf, .png

Real Estate Centre on receipt of details of your area of interest will check availability through it's library of maps, create a basic map or provide a quotation for the production of a map.

Map Size is important. 700 pixels wide by 500 pixels high.

Temporary raster maps may be inserted into the toolbox to permit the entry of properties. These maps may be substituted by a vector map at a later date provided the scale remains the same to ensure the entered property coordinates coincide.

The important thing is to get up and running.
It is better to accept a compromised design,
that can be improved upon, than to have no exposure at all.
